Exchange stage with Questembert, in France

This week, we are in a creative residence of The fable of the squirrel, in Questembert, France, community in which Festi'Mômes, Questembert Communauté, LEADER France project and Centre Culturel l’Asphodèle are involved, with which we began a close relation, in summer. As the months go by, the collaboration will grow and expand in different areas: between regions, festivals, and audiences.

This week, in the creative residence, we will mainly work on the technical part of the show, and we will incorporate several activities with schools and leisure centres from the region, such as a workshop on creating and dramatizing fables by Enric Blasi, student participation in rehearsals of the show, and a Catalan-Breton aperitif.

On Friday, our stay will end with our participation in the presentation of the season of L'Asphodèle, in which, Pau Elias, musician of the new creation, will perform musical excerpts from The fable of the squirrel, and, also, from his show Aquafonia.

In January 2021, this exchange will continue with a second creative residency, a youth exchange with the Esbaiola’t 2021 Festival, and the presentation of the show at the Festi’Mômes 2021.

We are sure that the experiences we will draw from this stay will be useful in personal, social, and creative fields.
