Going for the 7th Edition!

Last 26th, 27th & 28th July, it took place the Festival Esbaiola’t 6th Edition, at the Valls d’Àneu: a festival where you can find circus, puppet, games, music, dance and workshop for all audiences which is organised by the Ajuntament d’Esterri d’Àneu and the Companyia de Comediants La Baldufa in Lleida.
For the 4th consecutive year, the good weather accompanied a festival in which the audience could enjoy the mixture of an exceptional location as the Valls d’Àneu with the Festival’s programme. Nature and theatre are the perfect team for all audiences.

Fourteen companies offered seventeen shows and more than thirty performances. Eight of these companies came from abroad and three of them released their show in Spain.

This sixth edition is viewed favourably by La Baldufa and we would like to thank the artists, arrived from all over the world, lovable and professional, who lead the Esbaiola’t; the Ajuntament d’Esterri d’Àneu, the workers for making it easier, the government staff for believing in the project; the Esterri d’Àneu villagers for backing us and for having welcomed us so warmly; the business owners, dealers, hoteliers and restaurateurs for their collaboration and hospitality; the Escola Llar, we have been there as if we were at home; the Ecomuseu, always collaborating in everything we need; Kina Creu and L’Estarna, opening and closing Festival’s ceremony, genuine and funny, you don’t change a thing!

Our gratitude also goes to Diputació de Lleida for their collaboration, Parc Nacional d’Aigüestortes, Generalitat de Catalunya, Consell Comarcal del Pallars Sobirà and Mancomunitat de Municipis of the Valls d’Àneu.
